Private Label & OEM

“Can you make my brand, or do I have to bring you a finished design?”

Your brand, developed and delivered through one coordinated programme.

Start with your logo and colour standards. Diversitech Global develops the product specification and manages engineering, component sourcing, tooling, testing, assembly, packaging and artwork through your approval process. A single programme can draw on 80 to 100 specialist manufacturers, coordinated from our Hangzhou facility. Consistent brand and colour standards bring the range together, while your market’s performance, environmental, health and safety, and social audit requirements guide development. You have one partner managing the programme from specification to final assembly.

Two Own-Brands. Two Price Positions. One Coordinated Range.

A major UK discount retailer supplied its two own-brand identities and colour standards. After taking over the range, Diversitech proposed product and packaging improvements affecting 30 items, which the retailer accepted to make the brands and their Good and Better offers more distinct. Diversitech developed the wider 180-product DIY programme across two price positions, coordinating specification, engineering, sourcing, testing, assembly and packaging.

Competitive Benchmarking

“Will it compete with what’s already on my shelf?”

Compare specification, performance and cost before deciding where your product should compete.

Start with a product, specification or target price point. Diversitech Global identifies the relevant competing products and, where necessary, buys, tears down and tests them. Where possible, we also identify their original manufacturers. The findings become specification and cost options at each performance level, supported by market and manufacturing references. You can compare the options against the products already on your shelf and choose the position that fits your range.

Bosch and Einhell Benchmarked: Four Departments Behind the Quote.

A European aftermarket car-parts distributor brought a Bosch Professional impact wrench as the benchmark for a contractor-focused private-label offer. Market Research compared Bosch Green, Einhell and Bosch Professional; Engineering tore down samples and analysed their bills of materials; Purchasing investigated specialist manufacturers and manufacturing cost; and QA assessed quality requirements. Together, they developed three quotation options the customer could compare on specification, quality and cost.

Multi-Tier & Multi-Brand Range Building

Tool assembly

“Can you build the whole category, top to bottom?”

Diversitech Global develops coordinated ranges across multiple brands, price points and performance levels. Each product is benchmarked and engineered for its intended position, giving you a clear progression from entry-level to premium. Specifications, branding, colours, packaging and artwork are managed across the programme. Whether you need several tiers within one brand or distinct ranges for different brands, one partner coordinates the category while keeping each range’s identity and market position clear.

300+ SKUs Across Multiple Tiers and Categories.

For a national UK retailer, Diversitech developed and supplied more than 300 private-label SKUs across opening and mid-price positions, from hand tools and painting to plumbing, power-tool and gardening accessories. Within that range, Market Research, Engineering, Purchasing, manufacturers and QA shaped distinctive toolkits. A small number of those sets generated around 30% of programme revenue, including seasonal sales.

04

Quality & Compliance Control

“How do you control quality and compliance across your manufacturing network?”

Set the requirements before production. Check against them through final assembly.

Every manufacturer must pass an on-site Factory Qualification Audit and is scored quarterly for quality, on-time delivery, price and responsiveness. Product specifications, inspection standards and testing requirements define what must be delivered. Quality assurance, quality control and laboratory teams check against those requirements, supported by independent testing where needed and your supplier approval process. Final kitting and assembly take place at our Hangzhou facility. Manufacturing Gold Seal Samples, signed by Quality, Production and Business Development, provide the approved reference for checking finished products before shipment.

How Diversitech Passed an Eight-Hour Manufacturing Audit.

ISO certification opened discussions with a European car-parts distributor seeking its first hand-tool supplier. Before placing tool-bundle-kit orders, the customer set a tougher test: its quality team spent eight hours on site applying PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), an automotive approval method requiring evidence that parts can be made consistently to approved drawings and specifications. Diversitech Global showed control of drawings, raw materials and tooling at specialist manufacturers, supported by Administration, Manufacturing, Quality Control and warehousing in-house. It passed with 85.9% overall.

Retail-Ready Packaging & Display

“Will the whole range arrive retail-ready and look consistent on my shelves?”

One consistent retail presentation across the whole range.

Your products will come from many specialist manufacturers. All kitting, assembly and final packing take place in-house, bringing the range together under one controlled process before shipment. Packaging is developed around your brand and merchandising requirements — how products fit, hang or stand on the shelf, how the contents are presented, and how the range looks together. Cases, inserts, labels and retail display packs are coordinated across the programme. One centralised printer handles print production across the programme. The Digital Media and Design team manages artwork, colour standards and barcodes through your approval process, with finished packs checked against the approved sign-off sample.

We Invest in Ranges Built to Sell.

For a major U.S. automotive retailer, Diversitech developed a 200-item private-label range with six custom cases, branded moulded hangers and coordinated retail packs. One centralised printer supplied cards and labels; Diversitech assembled and packed the range in-house. The retailer’s U.S. team said the finished programme looked as though it came from one factory. Diversitech covered product-development costs and funded all custom tooling for the programme, investing in a range designed to grow sales for both businesses.

06

On-Time, In-Full Delivery

“Will my order arrive on time and in full?”

Your forecast connects factory production, China inventory and delivery.

When you share a forecast, Business Development and your account team work with you on demand and delivery dates. Purchasing proactively plans full minimum-order commitments with specialist manufacturers. Those manufacturers hold unreleased balances in China; Diversitech manages that inventory and is legally responsible to the manufacturers for the full orders. You can take delivery in stages and hold less stock yourself, without accepting each factory’s full batch at once. Manufacturing coordinates production and in-house assembly.

Warehouse manages the goods moving through Diversitech Global’s operation, including checks, packing and consolidation. Logistics plans container loading and dispatch against the agreed release schedule. The departments use the forecast, current stock and lead times together to keep the order moving on time and in full. On-time delivery remains a core measure in the quarterly Supplier Performance Scorecard, keeping each manufacturer’s performance visible for replenishment planning and corrective action.
