Manufacture a Tool Invention, NDA First
Diversitech Global manufactures tools for inventors and startups. It takes an idea, patent, prototype or computer-aided design (CAD) file to a production-ready product, and it signs a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before anyone shares proprietary information. Its engineers turn the concept into materials, processes, tolerances and a target cost, develop the bill of materials (BOM) and specification, manage the tooling, and run inspection and testing through to production. The company began this way: in 1998 Simon Hopper engineered Mr. 7 Hands with an inventor. A second route serves a business already in production that needs its manufacturing programme reviewed.
An idea, engineered.

Confidentiality and IP Protection
"How do I show you my idea without risking it?"

Confidentiality comes before the product discussion.
The first step is to contact Diversitech Global and arrange a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Once it is signed, a call establishes the project before you share proprietary drawings, computer-aided design (CAD) files, patents or other confidential information. Diversitech Global then controls customer-exclusive tooling and decides which approved manufacturers may produce each component.

Custom Tooling
"If I pay for the tooling, who owns it?"

Diversitech Global develops and manages the tooling needed to manufacture your product, including coordination with the specialist manufacturers that produce individual components. The programme identifies and controls customer-exclusive tooling, and Diversitech currently manages 150+ customer-exclusive tooling sets.

03
Product and Cost Engineering
"Can you turn my idea into a product that can be made at the right cost?"

A good idea still has to work on a production line, and at a commercial price.
Diversitech Global translates the concept into manufacturing decisions: materials, processes, tolerances, components, assembly methods and target cost. For existing designs, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) can find ways to simplify production or reduce cost through changes in material, process or tooling, while the required function and performance stay in place.

04
Prototyping and Bill of Materials
"If I pay for the tooling, who owns it?"

The prototype proves the idea. The specification and bill of materials make it repeatable.
Diversitech Global develops the engineering specification and bill of materials (BOM) needed to manufacture the product consistently, then coordinates prototypes and samples against them. The BOM defines what goes into the product, and the specification defines what each component must achieve. Together they form the controlled reference for repeatable production.

05
Inspection and Test Protocols
"How do I know production will match the product I approved?"

Define what good looks like before production starts.
Diversitech Global converts the approved specification into inspection and testing requirements for performance, safety, appearance and assembly. First Article Inspection verifies manufactured parts against the approved engineering requirements before production scales. Quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and laboratory testing then measure production against the same standards, with independent third-party laboratories where required.

Manufacturing Programme Review
"I am already in production, but my supply chain is letting me down. Can you take it over?"

Diversitech Global reviews an existing product, specification, bill of materials, tooling, quality requirements and manufacturing process, and identifies where the programme needs repair. The result can be tighter specifications, different materials or processes, corrected tooling, new inspection and test protocols, or components moved to different manufacturers. What already works stays.

One process behind all of it
Designs are handled NDA first, and customer-exclusive tooling is controlled and assigned to approved manufacturers. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
The capabilities above are what startups and inventors need between an idea and repeatable production. Each draws on the same documented process, from engineering and tooling through quality control and production.
